With a focus on minimalism and obscurity, Birtawil crafts evocative soundscapes using simple, imperfect textures. The project’s sound is shaped by guitars, synthesizers, looping, and a variety of effects, resulting in a dark and immersive mix of drone ambient. Birtawil’s music draws inspiration from a range of genres, including folk, doom and industrial metal. Fans of Nadja, Barn Owl, and Thisquietarmy will find a kindred spirit in Birtawil’s work.</p>
