Spooky Eyes

Direkt aus den Straßen von Tasmanien/lutruwita bricht eine musikalische Naturgewalt los: Spooky Eyes. Ein eigenwilliger Sound aus maximal verstärktem, psychedelischem Blues.

Hot off the heels of a successful run of headline shows across Australia and New Zealand, supporting slots for the likes of Foo Fighters, Jack White & Wolfmother, and appearances at some of Australia’s most renowned festivals, the band are now bracing for their first European & UK tour in 2027.

Kicking off in 2022 with the release of Leaves, what started as a solo project by frontman Jude Hastings quickly evolved into a full-blown live show – joined by childhood friend Jaxon Bassett on drums, co-conspirator Piper Rayner on bass guitar, and a new addition expanding the power trio, Joel Green on 2nd Guitar. They swapped jangly chords and synths for speaker cranking riffs and a thumping rhythm section. Their new sound is rooted in their mutual obsession of the blues, psychedelia, rock and proto-metal of the early 60s and 70s, blending the soul of Cream, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and Howlin’ Wolf with the power and heaviness of Blue Cheer, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Sabbath.

Spooky Eyes released their self-titled debut album in January 2026 to great acclaim worldwide. The record captures the band’s live energy and sound, channeling riff focused acid rock, psychedelia, proto-metal grit and loose, jam-driven energy pulled straight from the late ’60s underground.

The band are currently working on their second album, continuing to build on & evolve on from the sound of their debut.
